Mapping cellular targets of covalent cancer drugs in the entire mammalian body
Published in Cell, 2026
This paper introduces vCATCH (volumetric clearing-assisted tissue click chemistry), enabling deep and homogeneous click labeling across the three-dimensional mammalian body. Combined with HYBRiD imaging and virtual reality visualization, the technique maps in vivo cellular targets of covalent cancer drugs afatinib and ibrutinib at single-cell resolution across whole adult mice.
